in honor of mothers

this is livia with her booby-nana, my mother, who came to be with us while her other grandmother mük, was dying... and died last sunday. thank god for mothers. thank god for their love and patience and willingness to travel across the globe for us. thank god for their ability to let go and say goodbye, with endless gratitude in their hearts. thank god for little girls who blow kisses to grandma's who are leaving us either for good, or for a little while. thank god that we keep them all in our hearts, always.

Thank you for the beautiful photos. I had been thinking about you and wondering how your in-laws were as you hadn't posted so I assumed you were involved in caregiving.

I am very sad to hear of the death of grandmother mük. I'm glad that booby-nana was on the scene to provide support. Thoughts of peace and healing coming your way. xo

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I can't imagine how difficult it will be to lose my mom or mother-in-law. Both so amazing and dear in my life.

My first visit here...so glad to meet you!

Your most recent post, the first I read, is a sad one and I'm sorry to read of your loss ;( Mothers...they have the ability to save us and most often do, when given the chance...sorry you will have one less in your life.

I spent the last few minutes sifting through your images of that little sprite of yours - oh my gosh she is bursting with beauty ...I really really enjoyed getting a glimpse of her in your many photos. She is something...I felt full up after seeing her.
I will stop by again...

hey tekeal!!! and sorry to hear about your family's loss. mom's ARE the best. they do things so unselfishly. i can't believe my 78-year-old mom who is still working as a cleaning lady will do a puzzle with phoenix or sing london bridge over and over and over again without a hint of dislike. they're amazing!!! and so are YOU! you have such a gift with words and the camera lense. xxoo
